Music Review: John Gray ~ Rediscover

Rediscover is the first solo creation by Nashville artist, John Gray and once you listen to this EP, it is clear that he was born to touch others through music. Gray takes you on a journey of reflection and inspiration with songs like ‘Fly’ and ‘Fast Forward’; melodic ballads that touch the heart and lyrics you can relate to.

The track ‘For A Friend’ gives grass roots, down home feel paying homage to best friendship, while ‘This Crazy Life’ lends to a more southern, gospel hospitality – a testimonial of sorts. For the progressive rock/pop enthusiasts, songs like ‘Love Me Now’ and ‘Drowning’ combine Gray’s soothing, deep vocals with rich guitar leads and strong synthesized verses.

Originally from a small town in Nevada, Gray has always believed he was destined inspire others through music. So, after a successful tour of the West Coast with his former band, Gray made a career change and relocated to Nashville in late 2009 to pursue his solo efforts.

You can expect to see and hear more of him in a town near you. To learn more about this incredible artist and to purchase his EP, visit John Gray’s Reverbnation account.
